It's great news that the Federal Government is to fund school chaplains from next year.

In Narrabri High School, our school worker, Katherine Bell has done a great job in sharing the gospel with students and providing support to a wide range of people there.

The respect that she has is shown by the number of churches which contribute to her salary.

From July, the Government is offering $20,000 per school to go towards the employment of chaplains. In our case, this will make a great difference to Katherine as it will mean that she can focus fully on this ministry instead of having to juggle it around a part-time job.

We are already planning a meeting of our Board with the Principal to plan how to move forward with this.

God is doing great things in this nation!
