I was late getting out for my walk this afternoon 😦

Yesterday was brilliant- there were cockatoos in the trees and I could have taken a dozen great shots, if only I had my camera with me 😦

Today I took my camera even though it was near dusk when I left home.

The first picture is a nice sunset which would have been even better if I had left home a minute earlier- the pelican would have been right in the centre of the picture in the sunlight! As Maxwell smart would have said, "Missed by that much." I didn't actually notice the pelicans as such until I got home because I was in a hurry to get my walk over before it got too dark and cold.
