It's been a while since I've been inspired to take photos.

This afternoon I had a lovely time cleaning out our gutters. This stemmed from noticing that even though it's been a few days since it rained, there is still a constant drip coming from the gutter. Sure enough the gutter was full of water, leaves and mud. Deciduous trees and gutters are not a good thing. So I cleared the downpipe and the gutters releasing a torrent of leaves into the water tank which then meant that the filter had to be cleared– which was when I met this little fellow who was enjoying a bit of afternoon sun.

Later, I went for a walk where I saw lots of water birds, including this lot:

In other activities, I also did some gardening and washed the car. Not a bad day's work on a perfect winter day.
