After the rain the last few days, the whole of nature seems to be enjoying the warm, sunny weather today– although that is supposed to change with a cold change tomorrow.

As I walked around the lake this afternoon there were lots of birds around. At one stage an enormous mixed flock of cockatoos and galahs flew overhead causing me a little nervousness… there must have been two hundred birds together.

Ibis and other birds wade across the water-logged football fields finding their favourite snacks.

I just love the ever-changing light, colours and moods on the lake.
