How do you describe the experience of eating chocolate to someone who has never tasted it?

Do we have words to describe the flavour, the texture, the rush of brain chemicals?

How do I describe my experience of the presence of God my Father? The love, the peace, the awe, the holy acceptance…

I was talking to a lady at our church about this this morning. We have both had very deep, precious experiences of seeking God in prayer or worship and then just being swept away by Him. When we try to express the experience we find that words just fail.

The English language just wasn't designed to express the deep spiritual longings/ feelings/ experiences of our awesome God.

Maybe you just need to try it.

Spend quality and quantity time with God.
