The most popular form of renewable energy in many places is wind power. Wind farms are going up all over the world, but do they do what they are supposed to do- produce electricity?
British environmental group the Muir Trust finds out that they are in fact a waste of space, generating below 20% of their capacity most of the time.

Perhaps the design can be changed to make them more efficient.

I think the basic problem is lack of wind and its variability.
