Opera Extensions

I love the fact that opera now has extensions, enabling users to tailor opera to their own needs.

Unfortunately, I've had some problems making extensions work. For example I've been unable to make the appropriate buttons appear on my  toolbar.

While doing a search on Google for solutions, I came across Simon Houston's blog. The solution he offers here actually works! I think the problem is that if you upgraded from older verisons of Opera the toolbar setup file isn't updated to allow extenson buttons to be added.

Follow Simon's instructions here to  make extensions work for you.

Speaking of extensions, it appears that the scribefire extension doesn't include a spell checker which is a serious oversight.  😦
