One of the most awesome ideas in the world of internet browsers was flock. As the world of social networking started to gain traction, flock managed to integrate facebook, flickr, blogging and blog reading all into one nifty browser.
Yes, you can achieve all of that by taking your standard browser such as opera or firefox and installing the appropriate extensions, but flock had it all right there.
I stopped using it because it was quite slow in downloading RSS feeds compared with opera. Then they dropped linux support when they released version 3. Today they have announced that they are discontinuing support altogether.
So I'm left with opera together with the scribefire extension and yoono which is another great bit of social networking software.
