Theme: Repentance
Wednesday 22nd

Later on, after John was arrested, Jesus went into Galilee, where he preached God’s Good News. “The time promised by God has come at last!” he announced. “The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News!” Mark 1:14-15

The power of salvation starts with our turning to God. What sins are God calling you to turn away from today? Ask for forgiveness and grace to remain free from them.

Thursday 23rd

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:4,5

We usually think of sins as things we do, but every action starts with a thought. The strongholds of satan are entrenched patterns of thinking that are contrary to God's revealed will. Ask the Holy Spirit to open your spirit to see the ungodly thoughts and mindsets that stop you walking in the power of the Holy Spirit.
