Friday 24th

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matthew 5:27-28

Jesus redefined the Law to show us that whether it is anger, lust or greed, the desires of our heart are what separate us from God not just the actions that can be seen. What ungodly desires is the Holy Spirit talking to you about today?

Saturday 25th
“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ Matthew 25:41-43

The good that we neglect to do is as dangerous as the bad that we do. These are sometimes called sins of omission. How have you failed to do all that God has asked of you? Repent of these things now.
