Lent Prayer

Wednesday 28th

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26

Our words can bring blessings into the lives of people as surely as they can bring curses. A blessing is a spoken proclamation declaring good things for a person. Speak out some blessings over the lives of people today.

Thursday 29th

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.” With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” Those who accepted his message were baptised, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. Acts 2:38-41

The words which we use to share the Good News are powerful- when they are God's words. Witnessing words- words that testify to the power and grace of God. Pray for the Living Word to so fill you that His words become your words, words of salvation.
