I'm a reader. If I go for a week without opening a paper or digital book a little bit of me dies inside.
I'm half-way through this book and it is really good.
It is a systematic critique of the arguments of the religious atheists, the strident ones who want to convert us poor deluded souls to their faith in nothing. It attacks their arguments about the role of science, about the ability of humans to determine morality without reference to a creator, and also the straw-man arguments they use to criticise their version of christianity.
All of this is done by John Lennox, a brilliant man who is a professor in mathematics at Oxford University, and in a style that is easy to read.
If you get a chance, grab a copy and read it.
