Today we got to mind Bethany and Alex all day. Alex managed to help me fill in my day off so it was good that he was here to stop me getting bored.

We went for a walk to the park. We did eventually get to the park but Alex decided he wanted to build shelters for homeless animals. Why not?

The willy-wagtail entertained me while I waited for Alex to finish his constructions. I was trying to photograph it hovering over the water, but it wasn't that co-operative.

Eventually I was able to persuade Alex that it was getting too cold to stay out and we came home to thaw.
