Had a great walk this afternoon and found some interesting sights.

This hawk must have needed a break from soaring and swooping. It's very rare for them to sit out in the open like this.

With the weather starting to feel like spring, people are starting to get out on the water.

I'm not sure if this is a disappointed horse or not, but it sure looks like it's warm enough.

These birds are fascinating. As well as liking to keep their wings out when on land, they also swim with just their neck and head protruding from the water. Sometimes they will even swim completly submerged for some time to evade potential predators.
