Today is a day of shame for this great country.

The United Stated Government has issued an advisory warning US citizens to stay away from Martin Place and Hyde Park on the weekend and to avoid identifying themselves as US citizens- presumably this means don't wear a ten gallon hat or open your mouth to speak. The warning has been given becasue of rumours of more Islamic protests in those locations.

When did it become acceptable for some people to be targeted in this way and prevented from going about their lawful business because a bunch of thugs want to engage in acts of intimidation?

We are better than that.
