Last week Margaret transformed our church building into a baby shop. We've been selling pre-loved baby goods for some years now. Business has been slow lately so Margaret advertised a sale- that certainly brought people in.

Today was an absolutely splendid day- perfect weather to be outdoors. I performed my October chores on the roof this morning- clean out the evaporative air conditioner ready for summer, clean out the gutters and wash the solar panels. This afternoon, as I went for my walk around the lake, I came across this heron.

It's always a joy to see a swan on the lake. This one has had about a dozen cygnets scattered over a distance of about 20 metres.
