Last night I felt the Lord calling me to pray again for the rain.

It was a little after midnight when I jumped out of bed and prayed. There were many things to pray about, including the state of the churches in Narrabri. As always, though, the main prayer was "Send the rain."

About 1 am I felt that my job was done for the night and I returned to bed. A minute later the rain began to fall quite heavily. It eased so I prayed, "Keep it coming Lord" and it resumed.

This morning my rain gauge had just 3 mm, far less than we need.

I think that shower was sent to encourage me to keep on praying.

So I continue to contend for the rain.
