With all the rain today, and water now coming down the creek, the creek is steadily growing. The water is coming closer to the church, but is unlikely to come in.

The reason for the creek rising so much is that the Council rebuilt the culvert where the walking track crosses over. In their wisdom they decided to restrict the area for the water to flow through so it now does what water does- it banks back and then goes around the obstruction.
