I realised this afternoon that I had not taken any photos in two months. It seems that I've been too distracted by other things.

So I decided to go for a walk and remedy the situation. Apparently I wasn't the only one feeling the need to click.

It seemed that there was an outing of a local camera club. People were armed with cameras of all shapes and sizes from the lowly pocket camera right up to the SLR with a lens as long as your arm. I think everyone I passed had a camera.

The light was a little bit variable so some of the photos I took just didn't work because of contrast issues. But here are a couple of nice ones.

The bird was a surprise in this one, but it definitely lifts the image somewhat!

I enjoyed my little photographic excursion- I might do it again some day soon.
