One of the defining characteristics of New Life is that we are a Cell Church. This means that we see church as having two forms- the large group meeting or traditional Sunday service and the small group. Rather than being a church with small groups, we are a church of small groups.
A cell group consists usually of between 6 to 14 members. When a group grows past 14 it multiplies to form new groups. A typical cell meeting consists of what we call 4 W's- Welcome, Worship, Word and Witness.
We see group evangelism as an important ministry of the cell groups, along with pastoral care.
