Earlier this week we had a beautiful sunrise.
On Friday afternoon I went with Grant on a quick trip to Alstonville. I arrived back just 24 hours after leaving, having spent 14 out of 24 hours on the road. That was fun.
The animal count on the way to Bingara was 12 kangaroos, 6 dead kangaroos, 1 fox, 1 pig and 1 UFO- unidentified furry object. All except the pig stayed well away from us. On the way home I saw a few kangaroos, but since it wasn't quite dusk there weren't as many.
I stopped for an hour of prayer in Tenterfield. Some time ago I felt the Lord was wanting me to go to 4 towns marking the "corners" of western NSW- Tenterfield, Bourke, Hay and Wagga Wagga.
I didn't know that Tenterfield was originally one of the centres suggested as the national capital before the powers that be settled on Canberra. Stannum House was built as a potential Government House.
