I have just received my first ever mail order fish. Normally I go to an aquarium shop, but it is a long way to the nearest shop that sells marine fish.

Tim has bought tropical freshwater fish from livefish for some time and he thinks they are good. So I took the plunge and ordered three, one of which was out of stock and will come later.

So these are the fish I received today:

Yellow tail blue damsel or Chrysiptera Parasema

Pastel green wrasse or Pseudochelinus Chloropterus

The fish were packed on Monday, sent out from the Sunshine Coast on Tuesday and arrived here on Thursday. I allowed them a couple of hours of gradual acclimation before releasing them. The wrasse at one stage was swimming upside down in the bag, but it seemed happy enough when I released it into the tank.

I hope they thrive!
