The media portray the gay "marriage" issue as being an inevitable fact. In fact it is far from being a fait accompli, and Christians should be lobbying their local Federal MP to make sure that they understand that there is a diversity of opinion on the issue.

I recently emailed my local member, Mark Coulton, encouraging to vote against any proposal for same sex "marriage."

I was pleased to get this reply this morning:

Dear Keith,
Thank you for your email regarding same sex marriage.
I don't believe the Marriage Act should be changed, and I intend to vote that way if such a Bill is introduced into the Parliament.
I appreciate you taking the time to contact me expressing your view on this issue.
