Quote for the Day

In today’s fasting lesson, we read that the children of God continued their fasting tradition even in the midst of their rebellion and disobedience. Fasting for them was routine, a practice that was part of their religious culture. But God was not impressed. Tammy Hotsenpiller

Quote for the Day

One thing we have discussed in this book is that often we pray for a miracle but don’t expect a miracle. Today we are moving into the realm of expectancy. If we do not expect God to move, we will not see God act. Do you expect a miracle? Tammy Hotsenpiller

Today’s Bike Ride

This morning I rode along the three bike paths of Narrabri with a borrowed Go Pro camera to record the route and my commentary.I haven’t checked the video yet.
I rode up to the Pirate Park along the road, then back along the lake path, up and over the bridge and along the cross town path before going into Cameron Park to join the river bank path to Violet St. I crossed the river and rejoined the path on the other side, travelling to the Crossing Theatre. From there I rode out of town to Killarney Gap Road, then came back via Saleyards Road. Eventually I crossed the river on the big bridge, coming home again on the bike path.
The three paths seem to be in good condition, but there are some concerns.

Quote for the Day

Walking with God takes faith. As it was in Old Testament times when the Israelites relied on God for bread and water, so it is today when the world is looking everywhere for love and acceptance: we must rely on God to meet our needs. Tammy Hotsenpiller

Quote for the Day

Every miracle starts with a need. It would not be a miracle if we could do it on our own. God has manna in store for us. But we must trust Him daily for our provision. God’s desire is that we would walk each day dependent on His provision and His resources. Tammy Hotsenpiller
