Two thousand Iranians turning to Jesus every day

From God Reports

By Charles Gardner —

underground church Iran

The Bible Society, which operates around the globe, reports that more than 2,000 Iranians are turning to Jesus every single day! One 92-year-old believer, whenever she’s on a bus, pulls out a small book and asks her neighbour to help her read the tiny font.

In fact, she is secretly getting strangers to read the gospels. Every time she does it, the person sitting next to her ends up taking a New Testament home.

This is brave work in a land where leaving Islam is potentially punishable by death. But the Iranian revival is good news for Israel – and the Jews! For these dear people have been taught by their government and mullahs that Israel is their archenemy.

But now that they have opened their lives to Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, they find they are also growing to love the Jewish people, longing and praying for a restoration of the peace that the two nations once enjoyed.

This is profoundly good news for those who have eyes to see the bigger picture. For the strict Islamic state of Iran, whose rulers want to wipe out the Jewish people just as Hitler did and who are chief sponsors of monstrous terrorist groups like Hamas, is now the focus of a Christian revival where some two million people have discovered that Jesus, the Jew, is the Savior of the world.

As the mosques shut down in great numbers, passionate Christians are filling the vacuum, though of necessity staying ‘underground’ for now, out of sight of the religious police.

The Islamic foundations are crumbling for the chief sponsors of terrorism, a fact graphically prophesied by the psalmist thousands of years ago when he wrote of them: “Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation, so that Israel’s name is remembered no more. With one mind they plot together, forming an alliance against you.” (Psalm 83:4f)

Among the enemies named are ‘Ishmaelites’ and people from Philistia (Gaza) and Tyre (Lebanon), with Assyria (covering parts of Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey) joining them. Does this ring any bells?

Yet the psalmist (Asaph) is not vindictive. He calls on the Lord to bring shame on them so that they will know “that you alone are the Most High over all the earth”. And we are hearing that many in the Muslim/Arab world, even in the strictest of regimes, are indeed discovering the truth of Yeshua.

In the UK too, where Jews feel increasingly threatened and pro-Palestinian marchers are allowed to call for Israel’s demise on the streets of our cities, there is a revival of Christianity, which gives us hope.

After conducting a thorough survey, the Bible Society reports a remarkable fourfold increase in young men aged 18-24 attending church over the last six years.

Amid rumours that Donald Trump is about to announce recognition of a Palestinian State (albeit without Hamas), here in the UK we are hearing reports of a recruiting campaign for Islam within the National Health Service. And even Conservative MPs and peers are making previously unheard-of calls for recognition of ‘Palestine’.

A British TV program has just been rightly lauded for exposing a shocking miscarriage of justice against a host of sub-postmasters wrongly convicted of theft, false accounting and fraud when in fact it was due to a faulty computer system.

But I also believe the monumental miscarriage of justice of modern times has been the grossly misleading narrative – through media, parliament and elsewhere – of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Restored to their ancient land through internationally recognized treaties, not to mention God’s law – their ultimate title deed – they are constantly subjected to a host of lies and propaganda accusing them of stealing what is their own property.

It’s important that we see the big picture of the unfolding spiritual warfare taking place. When Jesus sent out the 72 disciples to spread the gospel (as recorded in Luke 10:19,21), he told them he had given them authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy.

And he was full of joy through the Holy Spirit because God had hidden these things from the wise and learned and revealed them to babes.

It is not the proud and arrogant who will inherit the earth, but the meek and humble. And the latter will also be granted a clear-sighted vision of what is really happening amidst the turmoil of these terrible times which are surely preparing the way for our Lord Yeshua’s return.

As the darkness deepens around the world, especially in the Middle East, the light of Christ is shining ever brighter. It must be tempting for Israelis to feel greatly perplexed.

The psalmist assures us: “Do not fret because of those who are evil… for like the grass they will wither… A little while, and the wicked will be no more… but the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.” (Psalm 37:1f, 10f)

Do early coins undermine Islam’s historical narrative?

From God Reports

By Michael Ashcraft –

Coins don’t lie.

The historical data from coins can’t be altered, obscured or rationalised.

Coins from the emerging Arab Empire tell a frightening story (it’s only frightening for those who believe in Islam).

The story they tell undermines the standard Islamic narrative.

“The earliest history of Islam is questionable at all levels,” remarks Al Fadi, on a CIRA International video. “The so-called Islamic coins debunk Islam itself.”

All minted coins from the 7th Century come from the north or east. None come from Mecca or Medina, where supposedly Islam got started.

First off, there are no coins minted in Mecca or Medina during the 7th Century (when Arabs arose). According to Islam’s narrative, Mohammad and his followers rose out of Mecca and Medina to conquer the world with the powerful sword of Allah.

But NONE of the earliest coins minted by his followers emanated from either Mecca or Medina. (The coins have the city of minting on them.)

They were minted hundreds of miles to the North in Jordan and Lebanon: Illya, Yubna, Amman, Jerash, Baysan, Abila, Tebariya, Dimashq, Ba’albak, Hinis, Tartus.

(This survey excludes coins from Yemen and Oman, from the Byzantine Empire based in Modern Turkey and the Zoroastrian coins from around Modern Iran and Kuwait.)

Since rulers minted coins from their homebase, this tells us that none of the early Caliphs were based where they were supposed to be in the Hejaz (of Medina and Mecca).

A timeline of Islam. The earliest coins of Arab leaders show Christian symbols. This changes come in 692, 60 years after Mohammad’s supposed death, when Abd al-Malik makes an anti-Trinitarian proclamation. Later, Islam emerges.

In fact, according to ancient maps, Mecca didn’t even exist.

This is troubling for Muslims because if their history is questionable, logically everything they believe is likewise questionable.

But it gets worse for the standpoint of their historical narrative.

The earliest coins of Arab rulers show they were Christian, according to Dr. Jay Smith.

Coins from the Sassanians (651-660) have crosses on them, showing they were Christian (as opposed to Zororastrian coins which had an emblem of fire altars on them). According to the SIN, the Sassanians were Muslim.

The first Umayyad Caliph, Mu’awiyah (661-680) put three crosses on his western coins, a nod to the Trinity. According to the SIN, Mu’awaiyah was Muslim.

Source: CIRA International video

“If Mohammad died in 632, we’re 50 years later, the coins are either Christian or Zoroarastrian,” Dr. Smith says. “There is nothing at all that is close to Islam.”

The first hint of Muslim doctrine comes in 692 when Abd al-Malik announces his leadership to the world with a coin that says: “There is no god but Allah and MHMD is his prophet.”

This is the proto-shahada proclamation that Muslim use to make converts (their version of a Christian’s “sinner’s prayer.”)

Dr. Smith puts forth an intriguing theory that Abd al-Malik may NOT have even been a Muslim, but rather a Christian anti-Trinitarian.

“It’s attacking Byzantine Christianity,” Dr. Smith contends.

1 Million Muslims in Iran Turning To Jesus

1 Million Muslims Embrace Christianity, Leading to Mosque Closures – Charisma Magazine Online

Amid talk of a broader war in the Middle East, there is also news that a Jesus revolution may be underway.

An unprecedented number of Muslims are choosing to follow Christ, especially in Iran as people search for a better life.

Iranians are growing tired of the ayatollahs and a nation led by the empty promises of their Islamic theocracy. An anonymous internal poll found that 80% now prefer a democratic government, and many are leaving Islam.

“You have a country with one of the highest drug addiction rates in the world. You have a country where corruption runs rampant. You have a country where more than half the people live below the poverty line,” explained Todd Nettleton of The Voice of the Martyrs (VOM).

“And the people of Iran are looking at this and they are saying, ‘Wait a minute. If this is what Islam has brought us in the last 45 years, we’re not interested. We want to know what the other options are.’”

According to Nettleton, Vice President of Messaging at VOM, the faith option many are choosing is Jesus with at least a million Muslims reportedly leaving Islam for Christianity.

So, how is the regime reacting to this with a reported 50,000 of 75,000 mosques now closed?

“This is not something that is making the regime happy. And, really, in many ways, they are seeking to solidify their power and to crush any kind of dissent,” Nettleton said. “We have heard multiple stories this year of Bible study, a home church being raided. Everyone there is photographed, everyone there is questioned. But then the leader of the meeting is held on to. They are arrested. They are detained, they’re put in prison.”

Bob the Builder became Christian because of a Muslim

Bob the Builder became Christian because of a Muslim

Bob takes on the Muslim Metaphysician (who is in red cap)

By Michael Ashcraft—

A 16-year-old tried to convert 13-year-old Bob to Islam. Instead, Bob, who came from working class parents in Northern England, converted to Christianity. Today, he’s a mainstay debater at Speaker’s Corner exposing Islam.

“I grew up in an area where there are lots of Muslims,” Bob says on a Critical Witness YouTube interview. “ I went to school with lots of Muslims. It was because some Muslims tried to convert me that I became a Christian.”

Bob, who doesn’t use his last name because he evangelizes convicted terrorists, didn’t know anything about Christianity. So when the Muslim boy asked him if he was a monotheist or trinitarian, Bob didn’t know what these were.

Bob the Builder vs. Mohammed Hijab

“I was so ignorant,” he says. “ But the guy was more interested in winning arguments than winning people’s hearts.”

He proceeded through a very typical Muslim script for winning converts: The Bible is corrupted, the Trinity makes no sense, Mohammed was prophesied in the Bible.

So Bob did what most Christians do not do. He researched. He went to the library and read piles of books about Islam and Christianity.

Bob of Speaker’s Corner invited to preach at Oxford Bible Church.

Inevitably, some Muslim would come up to him and, observing what he was reading, try to convert him. Bob was full of the fact and wound up converting some of those Muslims. Ultimately, the librarian kicked him out for evangelizing, but he said it wasn’t his purpose to win over Muslims originally.

An eminent debater was born. He usually goes for two hours, taking all comers, not just Muslims. He’s faced down the Muslim heavy hitters: Mohammed Hijab, Ali Dawah, the Muslim Metaphysician, among others.

Now that stalwarts such as Dr. Jay Smith and Hatun Tash have largely retired from open air debates, a new generation of crack debaters has arisen, and Bob on YouTube channels SOCO Films and Revelations 22:13 is one of the fearless and respected proponents of Christianity.

Bob the Builder building the kingdom of God

The regulars nickname each other with funny monikers. He became Bob the Builder.

“I’m called Bob the Builder,” he says on an Oxford Bible Church YouTube video. “The reason for that is I evangelize actual terrorists who have been to jail for terrorism. It’s not a wise thing to let your name be known when you’re dealing with such people. It wasn’t by my choice to be called a cartoon character. I’m trying to get off the nickname.”

He prefers simply Bob of Speaker’s Corner. But he is building the kingdom of God.

Muslim set out to disprove Bible, but a funny thing happened after he read it

From God Reports:Muslim set out to disprove Bible, but a funny thing happened after he read it

By Alexia Hess –

Mubashir’s consecration to Islam was perfect.

“I was honoured to be a teacher at Koran school in India,” he told International Christian Response. “I felt so full of satisfaction in both my role and my dedication to my path.

“My dedication to Koran was all-encompassing, all-consuming.”

In his zeal to strengthen the Muslim population in India (which registers at 14%, well behind the Hindu majority of 80%), he threw himself into studying comparative religion.

Cracking open a Bible to better expose its errors (he thought), he began reading the New Testament. It was a strange sensation. What he had been told about the Bible didn’t line up with what was written in the Bible.

Muslims in India

“I was amazed by the love and acceptance and forgiveness that I found in the pages of the Christian scriptures,” he recalls. “Jesus as God-become-man captured my attention. He became one of us in order to save us.”

Inevitably, he turned his life over to Jesus and became a Christian. He lost his job at the Koran school.

“My parents didn’t want to have anything to do with me,” he adds. “I quickly went with my friends and neighbors to share the good news, but they rejected me too.”

The rejection turned violent.

“The next thing I knew, I was being dragged out of my house and beaten so severely that I had to be hospitalized for some time,” he recounts. “With no job, I had no way to pay my medical bills and was frightened for my future.”

Thankfully, International Christian Response intervened and helped him start a new, independent life.

Missionaries Report Muslims Meeting Jesus in Dreams ‘in Levels We Have Never Seen in 1,400 Years!’

Two Assembly of God missionaries are sharing multiple first-hand testimonies of Muslims coming to the Christian faith after encountering Jesus Christ in their dreams.

James Bradford, the lead pastor at Central Assembly in Springfield, Missouri, and missionary Dick Brogden told Assemblies of God News that God is answering the prayers of Christians who are praying for Muslims.

Listen to the latest episode of CBN’s Quick Start podcast 👇

They admit any Islamic country is a dangerous place for a Christian and there are few opportunities for open evangelism. But they report Muslims are meeting Jesus in their dreams and converting to Christianity at an alarming rate.

“I would even say it’s the normal experience,” Brogden said. “It would be accurate to say that Muslims are responding to Jesus in levels we have never seen, not in 1,400 years!”

“Dreams are contributing to revelation (as in assurance), the process of evangelism, and conversion,” he continued. “So many Muslims reject Islam but know that to follow Jesus will cost them everything. Dreams of Jesus encourage them along the way and give them the comfort that Jesus will be with them — though it cost them everything to follow Him.”

Bradford shared that he was in a Muslim country meeting with church leaders from several Muslim nations. One of the leaders shared a testimony of a woman who had a dream where she saw Jesus.

“A woman had left the Muslim faith, but she was full of hatred and suspicion of Christians. She didn’t know what to do — she asked God for help,” he explained. “One night she had a dream where she saw a shepherd, walking about an empty tomb with a staff. The shepherd walked around it a few times, and then He headed directly toward the woman. He had a loaf of bread in His hands, which He broke and offered to her and as He did, He said, ‘Take, eat, this is my body.’”

He went on the share that the woman, who knew nothing about the Bible, woke up and contacted a person who she knew was a Christian.

“He showed her in the Bible where Jesus had said those very words. The woman accepted Jesus as her Savior — and continues to serve him to this day,” Bradford said.

Brogden recounted a story that illustrated the lengths to which God will go to show His love to people. He shared that a Saudi Arabian woman had a dream about going to Heaven, but feared it was the devil tricking her.

“She prayed: ‘Jesus, if you are the real God, I want to see you,’” Brogden recounted.

“Later, tending her sheep in the desert, she came across a pool of water. Bending down to drink she looked into the water and saw in the reflection a massive man standing behind her. He held a shepherd’s staff and He was smiling. She whipped around, but there was no one there. She looked again in the water, and there was this massive Shepherd.”

Brogden said the woman was terrified and ran home to her sister, who was a believer, and told her that Jesus was “proving He is God.”

The AG global worker continued, “Still doubting, this Saudi woman asked the Lord for one more proof. Her mother was a cripple, bound to her chair, unable to walk. She prayed: ‘Jesus, if you are real and truly God, heal my mother and let her stand and walk!’ Immediately her mother stood up and began to walk around. The sister threw up her hands in surrender and shouted: ‘Jesus, I believe, I believe!’”

Bradford and Brogden encourage believers to continue praying because many Muslims still need to encounter Christ.

“There are more unreached people now than in the history of the world,” Brogden said. “In 1982, there were 2.5 billion people in the world classified as ‘lost’ with 1.5 billion being classified as unreached. In 2022, the global population reached 8 billion, with 6 billion classified as ‘lost’ and 3.15 billion being classified as unreached.”

Finding Jesus At A Cafe

From persecution.org, a testimony of simple faith and trust in Jesus.

2/14/2023 Indonesia (International Christian Concern) – Flourish Café is a café in West Java, Indonesia, that opened in 2021, motivated by the owner’s Christian faith and desire to reach out to women victims of human trafficking. At the height of the pandemic, the café was struggling to survive. There were only a few customers who came to the café. They do not have enough income to operate and pay the workers.

One day, an ICC staff member met with the owner and discussed the cafe’s goals and programs. After hearing about the café’s needs, ICC was able to help the business survive by providing some financial assistance to keep operations running smoothly.

Every Saturday, the owner held a Discover the Bible And Quran Study at the cafe to prompt discussion about the two books. As a result, some of their employees came to faith in Jesus Christ.

Reli is one of the employees who came to faith in Jesus Christ. Her story is as follows:

I’m Reli. I was born in 1994. I was born into a Muslim and tribal family with the largest Muslim population in Indonesia. I grew up to be a naughty teenager; even as an adult, I did not respect my parents, so my relationship with my parents was not close.

I wore a hijab during high school because the school required it. However, even though I remained a Muslim after I finished high school, I took off my hijab because I felt uncomfortable.

In 2021, I began working at Flourish Café. Every Saturday, there is an activity at the cafe to read the Bible and the Koran, and we discuss the stories in the two books.

From week to week, I became more and more interested in studying the Bible because so many words in it touched my heart. I installed the Bible app on my cell phone to read it throughout the week.

I told one of my Christian friends about my interest in the Bible. She told me now, if you pray, pray to Jesus Christ. Slowly, I learned to pray to Jesus and felt something different in my heart. I was having problems with my family and with my husband. I prayed to Jesus, and several times in a dream, someone wearing a robe came and said, “Do not be afraid. I will help you” I believe that Jesus appeared in my dreams.

Every day, I am being changed more and more in my character. First, I became more loving toward my parents and family. Then, I started giving some of the money I received from my place of work to my parents.

In December 2021, I decided to be baptized because I had complete confidence to follow Jesus. But, until then, my family and husband did not know I believed in Jesus. They are not pleased that I converted and wish me to return to the Muslim faith. I pray that my parents and husband also believe in Jesus.

Dr Michael Bird: Why I Support Dark Mofo’s Inverted Crosses

The political left hates Christianity. They will berate the public about even the teensiest hint of what they call “islamophobia” and they are in full support of inclusion and diversity- except for christianity of course. Publish a cartoon of Mohammad and you will be pilloried by all the virtue signallers, but install blasphemous inverted crosses through a city and it’s fine because it’s art.

Why I support Dark Mofo’s inverted crosses

13 June 2018

8:53 PM

The proper way to understand the giant inverted crosses as part of Tasmania’s Dark Mofo festival is not an expression of macabre and strange art. Rather, it is a powerful symbol of the progressive left’s visceral hatred of Christians.

The giant red crosses erected as part of Tasmania’s Dark Mofo festival has caused offence to various Christian groups who recognize the inverted cross as a Satanic symbol of all things opposed to their faith (Yes, it can also represent St. Peter who was crucified upside down, however, given the deliberately macabre and neo-pagan ambience of Dark Mofo, veneration of St. Peter is hardly what the curators have in mind).

Richard Condie, Anglican bishop of Tasmania, went so far as to call it“state-sanctioned blasphemy” and Anaba Suriel, Coptic Bishop of Melbourne, labelled the display “an anti-Christian symbol in mockery of Jesus Christ” and a particularly painful reminder to Coptic Australians of the persecution they experienced in Egypt for being “people of the cross.”

Make no mistake about it. An upside down cross is as offensive to Christians as cartoons of the prophet Muhammed are to Muslims and smashed Stars of David are to Jews. The curators of the art knew perfectly well the uproar and offence that this art was going to cause. The offence caused was not careless, it was meticulously calculated, and the festival’s director remains recalcitrant in the face of criticism.

As you can imagine, Christian refugees from Iraq, Syria, Nigeria, and North Africa are particularly affronted by the art because it rehearses some of the anti-Christian rhetoric that has been used to inspire violence against them. Don’t forget that ISIS’s magazine Dabiq had a whole issue dedicated to “breaking the cross” which justified the killing of Christians. I cannot help but think that the Dark Mofo directors and ISIS might have a few things in common when it comes to their shared animus towards Christians.

Of course, mocking of the cross has a long history.

Crucifixion was the punishment of slaves, bandits, and enemies of the state. So it was particularly offensive to Romans that the Christians honoured as a god a person whom Roman authorities had executed as a common criminal. The cross was considered impious as it was seditious: A crucified Jew rather than Caesar was hailed as Lord of the world.

Marcus Cornelius Fronto, an orator and rhetorician, condemned Christians on the grounds that “the religion of the Christians is insane, in that they worship a crucified man, and even the instrument of his punishment itself” (Minucius Felix, Octavius 9.)

Similarly, the philosopher Porphyry wrote about the story of a man who went to the temple of Apollo to ask the god what he might do to dissuade his wife from being a Christian. In Porphyry’s account, Apollo answered the man as follows: “Let her continue as she pleases, persisting in her vain delusions, and lamenting in song a god who died in delusions, who was condemned by judges whose verdict was just, and executed in the prime of life by the worst of deaths, a death bound with iron” (Augustine, The City of God 19.23).

The earliest piece of anti-Christian graffiti is the famous Alexamenos inscription, dated to around AD 200, found on Palatine Hill in Rome, on what probably was a school to train imperial slaves. The inscription presents a man with a donkey’s head hanging on a cross, while another man faces towards the cross in a pose of worship. The words “Alexamenos worships his god” are etched underneath. The allegation is clear: Christians worship a crucified ass!

Yet despite the shame and derision associated with crucifixion, the first Christians made the cross central to their worship, stories, symbols, and ethics.

The cross is a central symbol for Jesus Christ, his Church, and God’s love for the world. According to St. John, Jesus’s death is a revelation of divine glory (John 12:23; 13:31–32) and motivated by divine love (John 3:16; 15:13). The apostle Paul preached a message of “Christ crucified” because it is the very “power of God” (1 Cor 1:17–18, 23). Paul even regarded his own identity as indelibly and somewhat mysteriously connected to the death of Jesus to the point that he could say that “I have been crucified with Christ” and “the world has been crucified to me” (Gal 2:20; 6:14).

The author of Hebrews offers a stirring exhortation to his readers to remember Jesus, who “for the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame” (Heb 12:2). John of Patmos describes Jesus as the “Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world,” locating Jesus’ death as part of God’s pre-promised plan to rescue his people from the mire of an evil world (Rev 13:8).

Tertullian referred to the late second-century practice of making the sign of the cross: “At every forward step and movement, at every going in and out, when we put on our clothes and shoes, when we bathe, when we sit at the table, when we light the lamps, when on the couch, on a seat, and in all the ordinary actions of life, we trace the sign of the cross on our foreheads” (Tertullian, The Crown 3.). In the fifth century, Romanos the Melodist (ca. AD 490–556) wrote his famous hymn “The Victory of the Cross” which says: “In your opinion the cross is an instrument of folly, but all creation sees it as the throne of glory. On it Jesus is nailed, like a king waiting to be hailed.”

While Dark Mofo’s inverted crosses sadden me, I am not outraged by them, and I definitely do not want them taken down. I regard the crosses as exemplary tools with which to teach the Christian community some important lessons.

First, I will make sure my Christian students, my fellow parishioners, and my friends see the Dark Mofo’s inverted crosses for what they are. Their inverted crosses are symbols of the progressive left’s and the cultural elite’s pathological hatred of Christians. The left claims to embody the virtues of tolerance, diversity, and inclusion, yet deeply offensive symbols like these are (literally) iconic for the hatred and loathing they have for Christians. What is on display is their hunger to humiliate us and their insatiable appetite to cause offence for the sheer joy it gives them.

I will make sure Christian refugees from Syria, Sudan, and Iraq see these inverted crosses too. And I will explain what they mean: “See how much they hate you. See their joy at your humiliation. See their delight at the publicity they get when you complain. See their detestation of who you are and who you worship. Remember it and don’t forget it.”

Second, then comes the next lesson. “Even though they hate you and mock the holy cross, do not hate them back. They make the cross an object of hate and ridicule, because hatred gives them focus and purpose, while ridicule gives them a sense of superiority and power over you. But to you, dear brothers and sisters, let the cross be the reminder of power-in-powerlessness, how love triumphs over hate, mercy for the undeserved, and kindness without limits.”

I want to thank the Dark Mofo artistic team for their inverted crosses. They are genuinely illuminating and sobering. Christians are reminded how much they are resented by certain quarters of the progressive left and it is an important reminder that we must not try to out-hate our enemies, rather, we must out-love them. The cross is glorious and the Dark Mofo leadership is powerless to change that. Let them enjoy their hatred and mockery, but do not imitate them, and do not let them change you. That is your victory, the victory of the crucified within you.

Faith In The Midst of Opposition

From Open Doors comes this powerful story of one mans’s faith and the impact his witness had on the men who had come to kill him

Samson, Central Asia

Samson
Image:
Samson holding a Bible.

We had arrived at another registered, but very much under the radar, church in Central Asia. We met Samson, he looked like a wrestler – in his early 50’s but lean and strong. As we sat on the floor broke bread and sipped tea, Samson began to share his testimony.

This is – without a doubt – one of the craziest stories I’ve heard from my time at Open Doors.

One Sunday night they came at 2am to kill him.

Eight people with machine guns and knives. They said, “Come with us.” Samson could not see their faces as they were wearing black head coverings that only left their eyes visible.

Samson told his wife, “My friends have come and I’ll be back in the morning. When you hear my voice then open the door.”

Samson’s wife locked the door and Samson went with them. They took him to a garbage tip.

They said, “Today is the last day for you. Jesus is not a God he will not save you.”

The Mujahedeen came and grabbed his hair and pulled his head back placing a knife on his throat. They asked Samson, “What do you want to say?”

Samson replied, “Jesus loves you and I forgive you.”

They asked him, “Do you accept Islam?”

And he said, “No I’ve found the truth, the creator of earth, heaven and all mankind. People created religion. You [God] created holy work. Please reveal Your work to my brothers here, salvation, protection for their children, and let them know that my blood is not on their hands. Please bless their families and I forgive them. Amen.”

The Mujahideen (Islamic extremists) screamed at him, “Are you a fool? We want to kill you. And you are blessing our families! Go home, we will come again and take you.”

Two weeks later thirty people and two Mujahideen’s came back.

They said, “We want to talk! We are those that wanted to kill you.”

And Samson replied, “If you want to kill me now please give me five minutes. I have been working so much I didn’t get time to hug my children. I will not tell them you are going to kill me. I will come back.”

They said, “We are not going to kill you.”

The two Mujahideen standing at the front said the 30 men behind them were their army, “As the leaders we are the ones who kill our victims.”

They proceeded to tell Samson how 24 heads of the army would retreat to the hills during the day and come down at night into the town.

Recently 24 leaders came down from the mountains at night and walked into an ambush set up by the government.

The two leaders at the front of the group told how they laid on the ground with bullets flying over from all four sides. They couldn’t raise their heads or they would get shot.

One of the leaders said, “While we were lying there we saw you and you came to us and said, ‘Throw yourself into the water and you will survive,’ and the two of us jumped into the water and we survived. The 22 other leaders were killed.”

They asked Samson, “How did you manage to come to us? And why weren’t you shot?”

Samson replied, “I was not there but my God sent an angel who looked like me because I am his servant. He did it for you to come to me to tell you Jesus loves you, died for you and can give you salvation.”

The man said to Samson, “I will never fight again.” They threw open their arms and said to the soldiers, “This Christian speaks truth. I will accept Jesus.”

Polish March For Freedom

People send me stuff. This one is quite good.

Poland has suffered many invasions over the years, but it has also been at the forefront of massive revolutions for  freedom, especially in the 1980’s when it was the catalyst for the fall of Communism in Eastern Europe.

In this march in 2015, millions of Poles demonstrated against radical islamism. In the coming decline of Western civilisation, which I now believe is almost inevitable, Poland could be the one hope in Europe for a renaissance of Christianity and civility. In the Dark Ages, it was Irish monks who kept the flames of faith and knowledge burning. In the coming dark age it could be Polish Christians who stand firm.
