Prophecy: We Must Squeeze the Life Out of This Python Spirit

Our flesh can walk in disobedience to the Lord, but over time, it can build a stronghold in our lives. The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10).

Have you ever wondered why you can’t press through to your breakthrough or get your spiritual walk back to where you want it? Our lack of spiritual desire can be more than our flesh or laziness. It can be a principality and power in operation!

I was recently in the presence of the Lord when He revealed to me there is a strongman python spirit operating over the earth.

A python spirit in the spiritual realm would be referred to what a python snake would be in the natural. A python kills its prey by constriction and asphyxiation. Constriction is a narrowing or tightening. Asphyxiation is being deprived of oxygen, which can result in unconsciousness or death. A python spirit or snake squeezes its prey.

The Spirit of the Lord revealed and brought my attention to COVID-19 and the recent racial tragedy where an African American man died because his airway was being constricted and he mustered out, “I can’t breathe.” When we look at both of these circumstances that have impacted our world, they were both related to respiratory or breathing issues.

The python spirit constricts and tightens around your trachea, making it difficult to breathe. When you are in a territory dominated by witchcraft, you may even feel your trachea tighten. When we look at both COVID-19 and the recent racial injustice, we see the airway being attacked. This is a python spirit in operation.

Python spirits generally want to make you prayerless and come to attack your spirit walk. The Lord was showing me that this spirit wants to come against revival.

A python spirit attacks a Christian’s spiritual walk and the Christian thinks they are in a dry place or “the wilderness.” The truth is a Christian can’t see and doesn’t acknowledge that the majority of the cause of their stagnancy and lack of desire for spiritual growth and breakthrough is because there is a principality in operation against them.

This same principality is in operation over the world and against revival. It may be releasing a spirit of death through COVID-19. Spirits of trauma, stagnancy, distraction, depression and fear are being released as a result of COVID-19. These are direct attacks against revival. Yes, we need to pray for individual situations, but truly we need to attack the power trying to come against revival.

Racial tensions can additionally come against revival as we get in disunity, judgment and criticism of others. We must not merely look at what is happening on the surface, but at the larger picture. Attacking the principalities in operation that are causing all of this is where our prayers should be targeted.

Acknowledging demonic powers and operations instead of people causing these destructions will be the true way we win the war. Over the last several weeks, the Lord has released multiple words to me about what is happening in the spiritual realm. The common word He continues to release is the principalities and rulers over the earth. When we target them, expose them, and decree and declare against them is when we will have victory.

The python spirit will continue to attack until we annihilate it through prayer. Its operations and tactics may change to a different demonic deploy.

You may or may not recognize its next move. Our job as Christians is to squeeze the life out of the python spirit through prayer before it squeezes the life out of us physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Which War Are You Fighting?

I read a lot of political and cultural commentary blogs. As you might imagine there has been a lot written about Israel Folau over the last few weeks.

For somebody who is apathetic about sport generally and Rugby Union in particular, I have written a lot myself about Israel Folau.

It is clear that many of the so-called “quiet Australians” who ignored the self-appointed political and cultural elites last month to vote in a Liberal/ National Party Government, are now ready to revolt against the moral standards the same elites have bullied us into acquiescing to. That much is clear from the huge support for the appeal to fund Folau’s legal fight.

For christians it is time to wake up and start fighting not just the cultural war but the spiritual war that is at the heart of this.

Writing at xyz.net.au David Hilton wrote a sentence that stuck in my mind:

The reason Christians have kept losing the culture war of the last fifty years is because we’ve been fighting a culture war while our enemies have been fighting a spiritual war.

He goes on to describe how the progressive left has all the hallmarks of a religion- a moral code, sacred places, deities, proselytism (what we call evangelism), judgement and excommunication. Because it is a religion, not merely a cultural construct, it cannot be fought as a culture war.

This is very much a spiritual war that will define the future of this nation. Will we let satan crush the church or will we crash through the gates of hell?

My fear is that the church will continue in its sleepy way, neglecting the spiritual weapons at its disposal while the enemy continues in its mission to destroy us.

It’s been long said of western churches that the prayer meeting is the least attended activity of the church. I know that’s true of most churches, including my own.

Wake up christians! We need to pray as never before, not just for Israel Folau but for every aspect of our culture. We need to open ourselves to the direction of the Holy Spirit so that we can tale on the forces of darkness and shine the light into the world.

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ”. (2 Corinthians 10:4,5)

A very powerful message from Ann Voskamp about the power of the Bible.

When you first meet this guy named Joshua, you’d never know that he’s been in the mouth of a lion.What do you say to a man who’s walked out of the mouth of a lion? Only to give his entire life to the Lion and the Lamb?

You’d never have the faintest idea that lion teeth slammed down on his waist while he was just a kid sleeping out in the wilderness with his herd of goats.

Clenched between the incisors and canine teeth of the lion, Joshua found himself dragged into the bush, braced to be ripped apart for a pulpy nocturnal feast for the beast.

And in the split second that the lion dropped the mangled boy to get a better grip, the kid’s barking dog lunged in between the lion and the boy, growling and snarling, holding the lion at bay until near-by goat herders snapped awake and dragged the barely-alive Joshua out of the lion’s deadly reach.

The boy lived to become a scarred man. What do you say to a man who’s walked out of the mouth of a lion? Only to give his entire life to the Lion and the Lamb?

“Why?” I ask Joshua standing there in the wilderness, holding the reins of a camel. “Why — give your entire adult life, nearly the last three decades of your life, to translating the Bible into the language of your people?”

Joshua leans forward. “It is like giving them a weapon.” He points to a tree where women in these stacking rings of glorious, rattling beads are gathered under its branches.

“One of those women told me said “Now you have given us a weapon that we can use. Which is God’s Word. It’s like you have given us a spear that we can use to fight a spiritual warfare.”

Because you have to beat back your lion attacks, because “your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”

Joshua holds up a Bible.How would everything in this tilting world stand stronger if the Word of God laid more open for us than closed?

“This is — powerful. The weapon is God’s Word. Now, we can be equipped. But the problem is now — we need the other bigger part of the weapon. The Old Testament. We also need the Old Testament.”

PROCLAIM HIS NAME Into the Atmosphere! by Jacqueline McKool

Recently, as I thought about the Islamic influence that has quickly and resolutely infiltrated our nation, I asked the Lord how to specifically pray about it.

The Lord spoke and said that five times a day the Islamic prayers and declarations released into the atmosphere are in agreement with the enemy, giving him legal ground to advance his evil plan on this nation. The consistent, unified Islamic prayers and the declarations of special interest groups, whose agenda is contrary to God’s Word, currently outweigh the voices of the people of the Kingdom of God.

The Lord also said that if His Remnant would declare aloud that He is the one true God even just once a day, then an acknowledgment of His sovereignty would be released into the airways EVERY MINUTE OF THE DAY!

An example of a declaration:

Yahweh God, the great I Am, He alone is God, there is none beside Him. Jesus, His only begotten Son is our Savior, the Lord of lords, and King of kings, the One who was, who is and is to come. All glory, praise, honor, majesty, splendor and dominion is His forever and ever.

It is time that we, the Remnant, the called out ones of the Body of Jesus Christ, release our voice, the breath of our Creator, by the power of the Holy Spirit, and declare who the one true God is over this nation. Our collective voice has more power than any other and will supersede the voices aligned with the enemy.

Father God has spoken; we can take back the airways over this nation that belong to us by the victory of the cross of Christ Jesus. Airways that are permeated with ungodly chants, statements, decrees, invocations and threats. We must mobilize and use our most powerful weapon, the Word of God, and by our spoken word, nullify the decrees of darkness and take back our nation in the name of our redeemer Jesus, the King and Lord of America!

I call you, brothers and sisters, to take the Lord God at His word; declare Him as the one true God and fill the atmosphere with His praise at least once a day. Ask the Holy Spirit to remind you or set a reminder on your smart phone.

Together, the gates of hell will not prevail against us! (Matthew 16:18)

Sing out the honour of His name; make His praise glorious! Say to God, how awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies will submit themselves to You! (Psalm 66:2-3)

The Daily Battle

We live in a battle, a war for our souls, that continues right through our life on earth.

Many christians misunderstand the nature of the battle or the purpose of their lives for that matter. Being hoodwinked by an easy gospel (“Just say this prayer to get into heaven”) robs them of the ability to follow Jesus day to day.

Jesus’ command to all his disciples is this: Follow me.

The invitation starts now, not in the next life. From the moment when we say “Yes” to Jesus we find ourselves embroiled in a war that never seems to ease. It feels like we are being torn apart by God on one side and the devil teaming with our own fallen nature on the other side.

Why does God allow satan such authority in our lives as to be speaking a constant stream of lies, enticements and suggestions?

That is because we are being trained for eternity. The goal of God’s great project that has run over several millennia is to raise up a race of men and women who have faced every testing imaginable and come through with undiluted devotion to walking in the ways of purity and holiness.

In this daily warfare that we call life, every time we say “No” to temptation is a victory, a step forward. Every battle won, no matter how small, is a strengthening of resolve, an advance in holiness.

Even our defeats are not defeats at all when seen this way. I failed this test, this temptation, but now I look again to my Lord and Redeemer, and I see another weakness that will be made strong in His grace.

The trouble is that in our defeats we believe the lies of the evil one. We believe that we are not good enough, that we are broken and beyond salvation, or that this sin will for ever define us.

Don’t believe the lies. Look to the Lord. See His never-failing love, even as He welds new plates on to your armour.

Step by step, battle by battle, small victory added to victory, we become holy, more and more like Jesus, transformed from glory to glory.

Battered but not beaten

It was the perfect storm.

I felt the pressure rising all week, like when I forget to take my blood pressure pills for a couple of days. This wasn’t my blood pressure rising but spiritual pressure. I could feel the enemy closing in. The taunting and lies were increasing in my mind as the week went on, and I would shake them off from time to time, rebuking satan at other times. But they were relentless, returning to hammer my conscience with accusation and threat.

I was reading Heidi Baker’s book “Birthing the Miraculous” this week, and I was so excited about what she writes about. With a free evening, no commitments and my family all away, there was space to find the Presence of the Lord.

This afternoon the pressure ramped up. I heard the Lord tell me that I would face an unprecedented battle with evil, but it was OK. Then I heard satan say, “You will fail tonight. You will not choose relationship with God.”

I said “Goodbye” to my family members as they headed off in different directions. I cooked some dinner. The evening lay before me. And that choice.

I knew that satan was right. I had stopped fighting, because the fighting was way too hard. I sat down at my computer and surfed the net. Instead of listening to the gentle wooing of Jesus, I gave in to the mind-numbing trivia of the world. Instead of the healing of the Father, I sought nothingness. Rather than victory in the Holy Spirit I allowed temptation to defeat me.

Late in the evening I finally came and laid myself at the feet of the Lord. I surrendered to Him in the Secret Place. This is a part of what He said to me:

You faced a huge temptation tonight. Satan has increased pressure on you all week and you have stood firm. Tonight was the biggest challenge you have ever faced- satan attacked you without restraint. There will be another challenge, but this time you will focus on me and my love, and you will stand firm, you will overcome.

I have given you my Spirit. I have called you by name. Know this and rejoice in me.

Not long after this there was a beautiful shower of rain. I went outside to enjoy the smell and the coolness and the cleansing. It seemed to be a gift from the Lord, a sign of His love for me.
