A Time of Judgement on the U.S.A.

The Lord showed me yesterday in my prayer time that the United states is in a season of judgement from the Lord.

The judgment started in the North Eastern corner with the Spetember 11 attacks on New York and Washington D.C.

It has now continued with the devastation of New Orleans.

The Lord showed me that in coming times there will be devastation in California and then in the North West of the country, possibly Washington State.

This has been confirmed in a couple of separate, unrelated posts at http://www.extremeprophetic.com .

God does not send these events to bring vengeance on people. He is not capricious, malicious or angry.

God is desiring to bring the once-great nation of the United States back to dependence on Him alone.

People of the USA, it is time to turn back to God and His Son Jesus. This is the time to repent and return to true faith in Him.

Blessings

Keith

  1. Dear Keith,
Your religious faith-based beliefs are based on a particular 'philosophy' -as are other faith based beliefs- that you happen to follow. I understand that this is what one might regard as your calling and I also assume that you accept literally all the stories recorded in the 'holy writings' of your religious philosophy's 'scriptures'.

All philosophies deserve to be studied and subjected to the challenge of rational, reasoned, reasonable debate. In describing your faith based belief system as a philosophy I am cognizant of the fact that one of the definitions of the word is:
"A set or system of ideas, opinions, beliefs, or principles of behaviour based on an overall understanding of existence and the universe; a philosophical system or theory; generally, a view, an outlook."

    Other definitions are:
"Love, study, or pursuit (through argument and reason) of wisdom, truth, or knowledge.
'Natural philosophy': The branch of knowledge that deals with the principles governing the material universe and perception of physical phenomena; natural science.
'Moral philosophy': The branch of knowledge that deals with the principles of human behaviour; ethics.
'Metaphysical philosophy': The branch of knowledge that deals with ultimate reality or with the nature and causes of things and of existence.

But to return to your 'religious philosophy'. I respect that you hold your views sincerely and deeply and that you are certain of a 'Divine Entity', a 'God', a 'Creator', a 'force' beyond human understanding, and so on; and that this 'Divine Entity' -through writings recorded several thousand years ago, by a desert tribe of peoples and subsequently added to by their descendants- inspires your way of life and that you are convinced that everything that was, that is and that will be is under the control of the 'divinity'.

But in espousing your beliefs, in espousing your 'predictions' you should expect to be questioned and where your 'forecasts' may be found by some (including myself) to be, at best, overstated and at worst, preposterous, you should also expect that some evidence of what you say wil most certainly be required, if your views are to be held up to rational debate and found 'wanting'.

Does this mean that I 'pooh pooh' your beliefs? Not at all. I belief in the exchange, the interchange, of knowledge, of views, of opinions, of ideas, but in trying to decide whether this or that information is a 'fact', is 'true' -in the sense of that elusive word- people who share my philosophy of thought must insist that where someone -such as your good self- proclaims a 'truth', proclaims the 'inevitability' of something, and prophecies (I will say 'forecasts') the 'coming events' then it is even more rational for others to hold such 'prophecy' up to the light, so to say, and ask pertinent questions.

The disasters that have happened/will happen are more likely due to a set of circumstances that have more in common with the normal and natural cycles of our planets' evolution, and the physics and chemistry of the forces (energy) at work; forces that have been following similar patterns over the 4000,000,000 years since our planet was formed (which, you will agree is considerably longer than the 'holy writings' of any religious faith based system). I said "more likely"; of course I recognise that the inhabitants of this planet -you and I and our fellow human beings- have not helped the eco-system through our conspicious over-consumption and the wastage that we leave, the pollution that we produce. These things have a bearing on the pattern of what is happening to the earth's planetary system.

So, Keith, I hope I have at least 'balanced' some or all of what you say with my response. If you are happy following your beliefs then I applaud you and support your right to do so, but please read more widely for I infer that you may be 'fixed' on one set of writings and that you may be ignoring all other relevant information that exists outside your own personal religious convictions. In saying this I might be doing you a grave injustice, and if that appears to be so then I offer my apologies, but on 'face value' your statements need to be vigorously challenged and I have attempted with, some limitations, to address some of your remarks.

    Best wishes, Keith.

  2. Hi lokutus_prime,Thanks for your thoughtful comments and for your respectful attitude! Let me just address one misconception that you have. Christianity is not a philosophy and it's not a religous system. At its heart is the wonderful idea that you and I can have a personal relationship with the Creator of all things… not only that, we are made for that relationship. What I posted here was not a random thought wishing vengeance on a group of people. As I said, it was God speaking to me, something that in the Jewish and Christian traditions is often referred to as prophecy.Since I believe with all my heart that God made this great universe in which we live, it's not too hard to believe that He is able to direct the molecules and forces which make up storm systems, etc.Since we live in a fallen world in which even the "laws of nature" are imperfect, seemingly random events such as hurricanes and earthquakes are a sad part of human experience. Occasionally, however, God uses such tragedies to make a point or a warning to human commnuities that they need to get back to what is important- namely a relationship with the living God, marked by true devotion and holy living.BTW I am not as narrow as you infer- I actually have two degrees, one in engineering the other in theology.Blesing to youKeith

  3. Very interesting…. we were discussing this topic just this morning – not in such depth, but remarking that things like this seem to follow a falling away from God.I believe that God loves us enough that He will use a wide variety of means to bring His people back to where they need to be.Great post – much food for thought.

  4. I think often we forget that God is more interested in saving us for eternity than he is in our comfort in the present. That's not to say that He is uncaring about tragedies and disasters, but that He sees things from a much bigger perspective than we do.I'm curious why you've come across this now, nearly three years later? Some things seem to have a very long life span on the internet 🙂

  5. WOW!! I didn't even notice the date when I commented. It was in Opera's subscriptions, notifying me that it was a post with a new comment, yet I see that even the comment is from 2005! Very strange indeed! Unless perhaps someone made a comment then deleted it – that could generate such a notification. I've had notifications before that didn't seem to have anything new and wondered if maybe that was the case.I can't get back to the page that came up at the time, but the Fathers and Sons articles came up as a link from your post of June 12, so that would be as expected.
