Finally managed to get out for a walk today, after a gap of a couple of days.

Now I have to go and chop wood. But tomorrow we pick up a gas heater, and on Friday the plumber will install the pipes so my days of wood chopping are nearly over!

I'm not sure what kind of bird this is- at first I thought a magpie, but then I thought "No." It's not a peewee, and that exhausts my knowledge of black and white birds.
