A Californian subdivision put on hold due to financial meltdown.

It looks like some of the gated communities here in Florida. It seems that a lot of developers got on the band wagon of buying up cow pastures, putting in some roads, then waiting for customers to come along and pick out their bit of the field. At the moment, most of them do look like this due to the financial problems.

It looks like the developers and their creditors will have to be very patient.
