This video from "Britain has talent" illustrates this perfectly. A bunch of arrogant judges thinking this middle aged woman has nothing to offer are blown away.

I saw the video on our news yesterday. What an amazing voice, and a lovely, lovely woman.

I believe she already has a recording contract. But I think for her just being on the stage was all she ever dreamed of, so she already made that dream.When I first showed it to Margaret, she said I bet she goes to church (because that's where most singers start getting their weekly or more introduction to singing) and she had to care for a parent and they recently died. When it was shown on the news here the next day, that was exactly her background!
