Today as I walked around the lake there were hundreds of cockatoos in the trees. As I approached they took off and squawked ahead of me from tree to tree. It was an awful racket!
In contrast, this noisy miner was very quiet 🙂

Very nice shots! We have cocatoos at the sanctuary and I agree, they are VERY noisy!

If you can imagine about 100 of them flying closely ahead of you screeching their alarm call, well that's what it was like 🙂 They are beautiful birds though, so we forgive their loud ways.
