Observation
The Day of Pentecost. Peter expounds on the meaning of the manifestations of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus was the one who came as the Promised One of God. The listeners know that He was a worker of signs and wonders. They were implicated in the death of Jesus.

God raised Jesus to life, conquering death for ever for those who trust in Him.

Application
The resurrection is not an event limited to one day. We mark out one day for special celebration but the resurrection continues every day.

We are the people of life, the people of eternity, resurrection people.

Prayer
Hallelujah! Lord God you raised Jesus to life. You have promised that all who trust in Him will also share in that life. Help me to live each day in resurrection power. Amen.
