Spring comes early in Narrabri compared to places further south. As I was gardening this morning I noticed there are so many beautiful flowers around at the moment.

The plum trees look fantastic with their blossom exploding over a period of a few days.

Gazanias are wonderful plants that just pop up all over the place.

Even the broccoli is getting into the swing of things!

These daisies grow at the back of the church, mostly untended these days.

As do these hardenbergias

These petunias just seem to go on and on. We originally planted them in pots for Susannah's wedding two years ago- they were just purple and white flowers. As they die back I occasionally add new plants. They seem to flower all year except during the depths of winter.
