Scripture
So Moses struck the rock as he was told and water gushed from the rock as the elders looked on.

Observation
the Lord leads the people through the wilderness until they come to Rephidim. There is no water there so the people complain to Moses.

Moses cries out to the Lord who tells him to walk out in front of the elders and strike the rock with his staff. When Moses does this in obedience to the Lord, water gushes out of the rock.

Application
Even when the Lord leads us in visible forms, we can be fearful of the places and situations He leads us into. These times are opportunities to draw even closer to the Lord.

Moses acted in obedience to the Lord and the crisis was fixed. There is a process here for seeing miracles:

1. Pray- call out to God not as a last resort but as a first response
2. Listen to God's answer
3. Obey what He tells you to do.

Prayer
Help me Lord to always be faithful to you. Let me see you Lord in every situation. Amen.
