I went for a walk this afternoon, intending to grab my camera as I left. It's been overcast all day and perfect for taking a few photos of sulphur-crested cockatoos and other creatures.

So, as I walked around the lake, near the rugby club there was a cockatoo right in front of me looking larger than life and stunning against the grey clouds. And I realised I had left my camera at home.

Half an hour later and ten minutes from home, as the heavens opened and the rain bucketed down, I was thankful that I had left my camera safe and dry at home.
