Tim and I had a fantastic morning up in the sky. A local man named Tony Pickard, who is keeping a watch over local coal seam gas projects hired a plane and invited us to join him and to take some photos.

Tony owns a property south of Narrabri and is not an environmentalist as such. A few years ago Eastern Star Gas started exploring in the district and part of the conditions imposed on them was that they kept roads in good repair. Well they failed to do that so Tony started investigating what else they were doing. He is now recognised by Government and Santos, the company which took over the project, as an expert.

I took 400 photos, of which I will post some here shortly.

It was a tiring day though and we have to celebrate Tim's birthday this evening. Tomorrow is looking a bit epic, but I will get some photos up soon.
