Sunday 18th

Love the LORD your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commands always. Deuteronomy 11:1

There is a difference between love and mere religion. Anyone can live a religious life. The love of God sets our hearts on fire. Pray for more love for God and for all hindrances to be removed.

Monday 19th

We love because he first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. 1 John 4:19-21

Love for our neighbours goes with love for God. Ask God for the grace to love those around you more.

Tuesday 20th

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17

God loves the world- the people who are not yet saved as well as those who are. Think of people in our town who do not know Jesus yet. Ask God for insight into how you can show them his love.
