Oh God my Father
I'm here again
A sinner redeemed by grace
Living more in sin than grace
Why do I do it Lord?
Why do I return to this place?
A moment in pleasure
Killing the joy
Destroying your life in me
Please cleanse me
Remove this blot, this stain
Guard my heart
Let my desires honour you always.
man, that brings ya to your knees. i know i've been there. (that's another wall hanger ta remind ya).but it does makes me think of 2Cor where it tells of a godly sorrow that works repentance.

This psalm is attributed to King David- adulterer, murderer, liar…. and a man after God's own heart. It was his heart-level repentance that got him that accolade. Godly sorrow- repentance- acceptance- godly heart. A great progression.
