“We all saw what Jesus did, both in Israel and in the city of Jerusalem. Jesus was put to death on a cross. But three days later God raised him to life and let him be seen.”

Observation
Peter, having been brought to the house of Cornelius, shares the Good news with his household.

Peter talks about how Jesus has brought salvation to all people and not just the Jews. Jesus went all over Israel doing good and healing everyone. He wa sput to death on the cross and was raised to life by God.

It is Jesus who brings forgiveness to everyone who has faith in him.

Application
Salvation Is God's gift to all people. He doesn't judge on the basis of race or birth.

The promise of forgiveness is available to everyone. It was purchased by Christ on the cross and verified by his resurrection.

Prayer
Lord in these few days before the great celebration of your death and resurrection, please help me to understand the magnitude of your grace, the power of salvation and the joy of the empty tomb.
