Lent Prayer

Wednesday 4th

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:18-19

The cross is the place where God makes peace with the world. So many people are raging against God needlessly. The war is over and peace is available for those prepared to enter in. Pray that you may be, like Paul, an ambassador of peace.

Thursday 5th

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Matthew 28:5-7

We worship a risen King. Jesus has conquered death. He truly is alive and pouring resurrection life daily to all who follow Him. Pray for your friends to receive the new life in Christ.
