Scripture
It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you- unless of course you believed something that was never true in the first place.

Observation
The Good News of Jesus Christ saves us if we believe it and hold to it.

Paul passed on the message he had received- Christ dies for our sins, was buried and was raised to life- all as predicted by Scripture.

Paul is an apostle by the grace of God. It doesn't matter who preaches the gospel for it is the same message.

Application
Our salvation is not dependent on our works or our worthiness or even our feelings towards God. Our salvation only depends on us continuing to believe the gospel.

It is our ongoing relationship with Jesus that determines our destiny. We cannot put our trust in religious observances or in our own achievements of good deeds.

It is all about Jesus- His death for our sins and His resurrection for our life.

Prayer
Help me Lord to trust in you even when doubts flood in. You are my Lord, Saviour and Redeemer. You are the Way, the Truth and the Life. Glory to you Lord Jesus. Amen.
