Scripture
Let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ's blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.

Observation
Because of the blood of Jesus poured out for us on the cross, we can now enter into the Most Holy Place, the place where God's presence dwells. Christ's death tore the curtain that separates us from God.

Jesus is our great High Priest who gives us confidence to go into the presence of God. His blood washes us clean from every sin.

We must therefore hold firm to our faith and trust God to keep his promise.

Application
Christ's death opened the way for us to enter into the presence of God. His blood washes away even the most vile of our sins and sets us free from our guilt and our shame.

There is nothing we can do to add to this most wonderful of gifts. All we can do is receive what Christ has done for us. This is the promise that makes Good Friday “Good”.

Salvation is available to everyone. All we need to do is reach pout and receive it.
