Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
to receive power and riches
wisdom and strength
and honour and glory and blessing

Observation
Worship is the central activity of heaven- thousands of millions of angels singing in a mighty chorus of praise to Jesus the Lamb of God.

Then every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea- the whole of creation- join together to worship Jesus.

Heavenly worship is not quiet or restrained- it is noisy, exuberant and respectful.

Application
To prepare ourselves for heaven we need to worship on earth. The practice of worship- centring our hearts on Jesus- is the highest and most practical thing we can learn. This is not to exclude good works for true worship spills over into a transformed life.

We need to learn to worship corporately and individually allowing our spirit to respond to the call of the Holy Spirit to worship the Lamb who was slain.

Prayer
Precious Jesus, you are my Passover Lamb slain for my sins and now reigning with the Father. Teach me how to worship you in all things. Amen.
