Let God's curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel of heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you.

Observation
Paul is an apostle called by Jesus Christ and God the Father, not by any human authority.

Paul expresses shock at the way the Galatians are turning to a different way, a false message that claims to be the gospel but isn't. Paul calls a curse on anyone who preaches a different gospel.

The gospel that Paul preaches is not based on human reasoning but came as a direct revelation from Jesus Christ.

Application
The gospel is not a human religious theory- it is a revelation from God. It isn't in the category of human knowledge which might be superseded one day.

We aren't free to mess about with it, changing it to suit our own tastes. The Good News is really good! We must not add to it as the Galatians did. We must not take away from it either.

The Good News is simply this- God loves us so much that He sent Jesus into the world to redeem us and set us free from sin.
