The acclaimed "The Bible" miniseries is showing on Channel 9 from this Tuesday at 9 pm.

It had rave reviews when it screened a couple of months ago in the US. It is generally faithful to the text, although obviously it is selective in the parts shown.

This series, I am told, is well worth watching. Record it if you can't watch it at the scheduled time.

The DVDs will be available in the shop as soon as I can get them from the distributors.
