Scripture
Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like Him.

Observation
We have been raised to new life with Christ so we should fix our sights on heaven and not on the things of the earth.

We have died to the old life and so we should put to death all the sinful fleshly desires. Sexual immorality, greed and dirty language, slander and rage, must all go.

Instead, we must put on the new nature, being renewed as we learn to know God and become like Him.

Application
It is impossible to really be born again and stay living the same life. Following Jesus us about a new life, a transformed nature. The Holy Spirit makes us holy as we let Him change our hearts.

We do not like to be reminded of our sins. We like to pretend that we are OK in God's eyes.

God's wrath will be poured out on all who pretend to follow Christ but love their sin more.

It takes time and work, but God will make us new in every way- if we allow Him.
