The Lord is faithful…

A beautiful morning in Narrabri and a great ride to the Australia Telescope. The dishes have been located well away from the visitors centre, possibly as a security measure over the holiday season. #cycling #Narrabri #radioastronomy

At 4.30 pm this afternoon the temperature was a little shy of 35 degrees which is not unusual in Narrabri in summer. The humidity is another story, just 1% That means you can go outside, work up a bit of a sweat and it will cool you off real fast. The dew point, that is the temperature at which water will condense out of the air is -29. Feel free to leave your stuff outside – it won’t get damp tonight.
A very happy Christmas ride to Turrawan and Tarriaro. Perfect weather and no traffic. #Narrabri #cycling

The sermon from our Christmas Eve service is now available on the New Life web site.
In this sermon, which is based on Luke 2:1-20, I talk about Three Words For Christmas.

No one knew the day or the hour all these things would take place, but they understood it would be within their lifetime. The disciples who were with Jesus that day on the Mount of Olives were young. Jesus was not any older than 33. Peter, James, John and Andrew were younger than Jesus. We don’t think of them as younger men, but they were. Cindye Coates
