Scripture
“This is the message of Good News for the people of Israel- that there is peace with God through Jesus Christ who is Lord of all.”

Observation
Peter is sharing with the people of Cornelius' household. He relates the story of Jesus coming and healing all who were oppressed by the devil.

The Jewish rulers put Jesus to death on the cross but God raised him from death. He appeared to many of his disciples.

Jesus is the one who gives forgiveness to everyone who believes in Him.

Application
This is the wonderful Good News- God is bringing us peace with Himself through Jesus His Son. No judgement- salvation. No punishment- forgiveness.

Jesus is alive! We do not worship a dead prophet. He has defeated death. Hallelujah!

Prayer
Father help me to grasp the enormous power of the resurrection. Help me to understand the greatness of your love for me and the absolute victory you have won for me. Amen.
