Scripture
For you have been born again to a living hope. Your new life will last for ever because it comes from the eternal living word of God.

Observation
God doesn't judge by birth or religious observances. He is looking at the fruit of a heart changed by grace.

We have been ransomed by God. We were in bondage to futility but Christ was the ransom price paid to set us free.

Now we have been born again to a life that lasts for ever.

Application
Christ has set us free from sin.

He is the price of our redemption.

He has died to bring us eternal life with the Father.

That is something to look forward to!

Thank you Lord for that living hope, the new birth in Christ. Amen.
