Scripture
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God.

Observation
We were dead in our sins and rebellion, addicted to sin and in the thrall of the devil.

But God, in his rich mercy, raised us from the dead when he raised Christ. Now we are seated in heavenly places with Christ.

Salvation is a gift not anything we have earned. We are God's masterpieces!

Application
Life in the world has a way of tearing us down and diminishing our estimation of ourselves.

We are God's masterpieces! He created each one of us with purpose in mind. When sin spoilt the picture, He destroyed sin through Christ and gave us the chance of a new start in Him.

What an awesome God!

Prayer
O Father I am astounded by your goodness. Help me to see myself as your masterpiece and to homour your other masterpieces. Amen.
